“Premia” is a home brand of the Fozzy Group company, the largest food retailer in Ukraine. Fozzy Group was expanding the “Premia” product line, and they turned to us with the task of designing a package for truffles. The brief stated that we were to keep the visual traits of the product category.
Chocolate truffles have their established style and looks. It’s a square box of dark shades, mostly those of brown or black. Even the product’s photos don’t vary much. The design of boxes in this case is conservative and inevitably elegant.
Our design continued the tradition of packages for classic truffles. The turquoise color, contrasting nicely with the brown, turned out to be an unexpected but welcome decision. This combination distinguishes the product on the shelf without ruining the established aesthetics and style.
God is in the detail, or, in our case, in post press. The hand-written name is executed in foil pressing, and the sweets in the pictures are covered with selective glaze. These nuances made the product complete – tactile- and visual-wise.
